“The signs are big and clear… ‘I didn’t know’ is not an excuse.”

At Maya Bay, clear rules are displayed in multiple languages to ensure all visitors understand and follow the same guidelines.
There are also park officers on-site to provide guidance and ensure safety.

It is home to important marine life such as:

  • 🦈 Blacktip reef sharks
  • 🐠 Many other marine species

✅ Important Rules to Follow

  • Do not touch or step on coral reefs
  • Do not feed marine life
  • No drones without permission
  • No smoking and no alcohol
  • Do not litter
  • Do not collect shells, rocks, or any marine life
  • Follow instructions from park officers
  • No loud noise

⚠️ Swimming Policy

  • Enter the water only up to ankle depth
  • ❌ No swimming allowed
